Noryangjin Fish Market

Craving for fresh sashimi or fish or crabs? Head over to Noryangjin Fish Market for tons of fresh seafood!
(Refer to the yellow highlighted)
Noryangjin station is one stop away from Yongsan station.

Once you head out of the subway exit, turn right and cross over a overhead bridge. Ta da! you have reach the fish market.

There are plenty of stalls selling almost the similar stuffs. So, my advise is walk one around the market, spot the freshest-looking seafood and ask for price and compare before buying.

This fish costs 12,000 won but i bargained until 10,000 won.
This salmon belly costs 20,000 won but i bargained until 18,000 won.
The prices are around 20,000 won for salmon belly and 15,000 won for the tail.
This prawn(one piece) costs 7000 won if you're interested to know.
After that, bring all your raw ingredients to one of the restaurants behind the market and they will cook for you.
One pax costs 3000 won (excluding cooking of your seafood). The restaurant do provide plain water, utensils and soy sauce/wasabi for your salmon.

Total costs for 2 person + steaming of one fish + bbq of one big prawn = 19,000 won.

Other tips:
- compare prices before buying
- prepare to know the basic of the seafood you are buying as most of the seller cant understand english/chinese.
- don't wear your new clothes as it is a wet market afterall
